You’re not kidding when you say “huge download”. I thought I’d buy myself a Christmas present so Tuesday afternoon I started the download. When I went to bed it was at 54%. When I woke up it was still at 54%! Apparently something interrupted it (McAfee? Windows Update? Media Center? I don’t know.). So I started over at 8:30 Wednesday morning and it finished 36 hours later. The farther it got in the download, the slower it became. It took 40 minutes to get from 98% to 99% and I’ll tell you, that last 1% was the longest hour of my life!
It IS a great game, though. I love that the main character is a goth, complete with tattoo, mesh glove and eyeliner. The graphics just keep getting better in these ND games and the ambiance in this one is perfectly creepy. They even warn you when you start the game to turn off all the lights and draw the curtains to make it as dark as possible.
I love all nancy drew game..including this one.
