Nudity = the devil in the US
All you need to do is recall the big much ado about nothing that Janet Jackson’s breast caused at the Superbowl halftime show some years back.
Completely family-friendly non-sexual representation of the bodies that everyone has? GOOD FOR THEM! Or do you really carefully lock away all the National Geographics in America in case your children might accidentally see other cultures and think that they’re not the center of the universe?
I admit, I’m European, and probably the authors of the game are too, which leaves us baffled by this comment. Looking up what wikipedia has to say about nudity and the R rating…
“In fact, any film containing female nudity almost always receives an automatic R rating. In the case of I Capture the Castle, a shot of a topless woman got the film an R rating “for brief nudity.” In every other country with a similar ratings system (such as the UK, Australia, and Canada), the film received an equivalent of G or PG.”
So you’re correct about it being R-rated for the US, but the rest of the world disagrees.
So after all the hype and *constant* blog updates, this is only a 3 stars game?
So much for the “I believe it will be next Bejeweled for casual games”..
